AniMAM is a research-based art residency that produces a series of animated short films for early childhood audiences, with content centered on art. The project has evolved into a training and development program for artists, focusing on the collaborative creation of audiovisual works for MAM Rio (Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro).
In this video, artist Rosana Paulino and her work are the focus of the film created by the duo Bruno Albert (soundtrack) and Tetiiz (animation). Paulino's work engages with social, ethnic, and gender issues, weaving intersections between her personal journey and the phenomenological history of Brazil.
The residency was guided by Adriano Cipriano, Renata Sampaio, and Shion L.
