Original illustration created as the key visual for the Rio de Janeiro edition of AFROPUNK Experience 2025, the world’s largest Black culture festival. The concept was to translate the strength of Rio’s Black culture, blending AFROPUNK’s global spirit with the city’s symbolic and everyday essence.

The composition balances globally recognized icons—such as the Lapa Arches, Copacabana’s promenade, and Morro Dois Irmãos—with elements of the “inner Rio,” including the Madureira Viaduct, the Sambadrome (Sapucaí), funk parties, street markets, and figures that embody music, style, and resistance. The result is a celebration of the diverse and powerful presence of Black culture in Rio de Janeiro.
