Editorial | Decolonizing my body

I created the illustrations for the cover of the book "Decolonizing My Body: A Radical Exploration of Rituals and Beauty", published by Companhia das Letras under the Fontanar label. The graphic design was developed by designer Julia Custódio.
The illustrations feature female silhouettes that represent the diversity of bodies, textures and identities. The visual concept aligns with the central themes of the book — beauty, ancestry, rituals and decolonization — and aims to emphasize the symbolic and political power of reconnecting with one's own characteristics and cultural roots.
